S K Mahila College, Begusarai, Bihar is a constituent unit of L N M U, Kameshwar nagar, Darbhanga. It was established in 1958 by Late Bisheswar Pd. Singh (The Founder Secretary of the Governing body. It would have been impossible for this college to attain its present status without the unfailing support and concern of Late Saryoo Pd. Singh (The outgoing Secretary of the Governing body, Ex-MLA & Minister). The kind and unstinting Co-operation of Sri N. K. Agrawal the then DM of Begusarai gave it the precious Security and safe premises by getting it a full length boundary wall. The people of Begusarai would remain ever thankful to Sri Ram Sagar Kumar, Maniuppa whose hearty and lavish donation made it possible to run Science faculty in this college.
To provide quality education to the students coming from poor and downtrodden families in the rural areas, so that a perfect citizen is made to serve the Society and country for the better tomorrow. The college strives to impart higher education to students of this rural & remote area and make them an asset in nation-building by inculcating qualities of competence, confidence, and a will to excel.
